Folio designed this high-profile campaign on behalf of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) to highlight the dangers of ‘tombstoning’, the practice of jumping from cliffs and structures into often dangerous waters. The campaign, consisting of posters and stickers placed at danger spots like piers, harbours and cliffs, targets young males and uses an innovative 2D barcode which can connect mobile phones directly to a dedicated website. Much media interest was generated and the campaign featured on the BBC news site (click weblink below) as well as regional and national press.
